This past weekend Caden and I went to Las Vegas for the IECSC. This is one of the largest Spa and Wellness Conventions. We left on Friday and drove down.
We stayed in a hotel off the strip a little and when we got into town we decided to go find a good casino and gamble a little. Caden's mom and aunt Tilly are the gambling queens. They play "Keno". Caden's mom taught us how to play last August when we went to Vegas for my birthday. On that trip we ended up winning about $1200. So we wanted to try again and see if we could win again! On that first night there we ended up winning about $900. It was so much fun!
We then went out for Sushi, and then headed back to our room and went to bed. (We are party animals I know! I think it was like 10:00 pm- haha)
The next morning we woke up early and went to breakfast then headed off to the convention. The building it is in is so large and there are SO many booths of different companies trying to educate you on their products. We visited just about every booth. It was fun, educational, but so so exhausting. Caden was such a trooper walking around looking at all this beauty stuff :).
Going to the show I had my eye out for a Microdermabrasion machine. This is a service I LOVE and I wanted to bring it to Volaire. A while back Caden met someone who owns a company called PMD (Personal Microdermabrasion), I had read a little about it and it sounded like an awesome product. So I was really excited when I saw them at the show! After learning more about it and seeing the results, I decided to purchase it! I purchased 3 of them so I can use one at home on myself, one at Volaire and sell one to a client who is looking for awesome results! I will review this product in more detail on another day, however, I am so excited to start doing it at Volaire. :) PMD is actually a Utah based company, and for those of you who know who Michelle Money is, she is someone who "advertises" and "represents" this product with her friend Laura. We got to meet her and her friend at the show. I, of course, did not get a picture with her, but her friend put this up on her Instagram so I am using this picture- (credit to Laura for her picture :)) !
Anyway, after the show, we went back and did a little more gambling at the same casino we were at the night before. We decided to try just a little bit more and see if we could win anything else. Well we started off a little slow, but once I got sat down at this certain machine, I ended up winning about $900. If anyone knows Keno, I hit 3 five spots in about 5 minutes time! It was a blast :)
Afterwards we went and ate at this Italian Restaurant called Bootleggers. They had a yummy gluten free ravioli that I was pretty excited to eat! After dinner we went back to our hotel!
The next morning we left to drive back home. On our way home we stopped in St. George and had lunch with my cousin Sabrina and her husband Mike.
It was a great trip full of winnings, new business opportunities and a fun time with my cute hubby!
Can't wait to share more about the new services we are bringing on :)
